1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Mealzy, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including free and Pro subscribers.

2. The service

Mealzy is an AI-powered meal planning tool available at mealzy.org. It generates meal plans, grocery lists, and nutritional guidance based on inputs you provide. The service is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Free plan

• Free accounts receive 3 AI meal plan generations per rolling 30-day period.
• The free limit resets automatically every 30 days from your first generation in that cycle.
• We reserve the right to adjust the free plan limit with reasonable notice.
• Free accounts are for individual personal use only. Automated or bulk usage is not permitted.

4. Pro subscription

• Pro is a monthly subscription billed at the price shown at checkout.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days.
• We reserve the right to change the Pro price with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

5. No guarantees on meal accuracy

Meal plans are generated by an AI model. We make no guarantees about:

• The nutritional accuracy of any meal plan or advice.
• The cost accuracy of any ingredient or total plan cost.
• The suitability of any meal plan for your specific health conditions, allergies, or medical needs.
• The availability of any ingredient in your local area.

Mealzy is not a medical or dietary service. Always consult a qualified professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have health conditions or food allergies.

Mealzy is not liable for allergic reactions, intolerances, or adverse health outcomes arising from following any generated meal plan. Always check ingredient labels and consult a healthcare professional if you have food allergies, intolerances, or medical dietary requirements.

6. Account responsibilities

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Mealzy (COPPA). Users under 18 should have parental consent.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent the free plan limit is not permitted.
• You may not use Mealzy to generate content that is harmful, illegal, or intended to deceive others.

7. Availability and service changes

We aim to keep Mealzy available at all times but make no uptime guarantee. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and issue pro-rata refunds for any unused Pro subscription period.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mealzy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to health outcomes, financial loss, or data loss. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@mealzy.org.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of Mealzy after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.
